What Is Miscanthus?

Miscanthus Giganteus (a.k.a. elephant grass) is a sustainable, high-yielding crop originally from Southeast Asia that is now widely grown in the UK for renewable biomass energy. Its environmental credentials make it ideal not just for energy, but also as exceptional Horse & Animal Bedding.

This fast-growing, bamboo-like plant reaches up to 3 metres in height and features a soft, spongy core that offers excellent absorbency, low dust levels, and natural odour control. These properties make it ideal for maintaining clean, dry, and healthy stables or animal enclosures.
